The 5% Formula

Many years ago I had the pleasure
of meeting, in my opinion, one of the very best success
trainers in the world—a man by the name of
Brian Tracy—in a seminar
he was conducting here in Seattle.
During that event, Mr. Tracy asked
his audience of several thousand somewhat successful
attendees this philosophically profound question:
"Why is it that some people are more successful
than others?"
And, as expected, Mr. Tracy proceeded
to explain the reasons people succeed, and don't succeed,
in detail. He then provided the formula any of us could
use in order to become a top 5% income earner in our
chosen industry—in five years time—without a lot of
effort on our part...
According to Mr. Tracy, all we needed
to do was read 10 pages of a good book every day, listen
to 30 minutes of a great CD or audiotape every day and
take at least one class per quarter—in the business-related
field we desired to achieve success. Then if we simply
applied what we learned, over the next five years we
would find ourselves in the top 5% of the income earners
in our chosen field.
Well, I took that advice, and I am able
to report that Brian Tracy was right! And now it's your
turn to achieve that same level of success by applying,
The 5% Formula.
So if you're ready to build a world-class
organization, and become a successful business-builder,
here are the exact steps you too need to take:
Read 10 pages of a good book every day:

Take a class at least four times
every year... Again, in the business-related field
you want to achieve success.
You see, successful business-builders—and
all those who want to become successful business-builders—simply
select one area of their business to improve monthly, and
then go to work on getting better!
Because in our business, serious students of success are
focused on mastering the fundamentals...
Prospecting: Do you
have two new people to talk to every day?
Presentation:
Are you enrolling your fair share?
Duplication: Are
all those you're sponsoring doing the same?
Successful business-builders invest in
themselves, and in their own personal growth and development
by applying The 5% Formula. Remember, successful business-builders
select a book, listen to an
audio program, or take a class so
that the knowledge, insights, and wisdom they gain can transport
them from wherever they currently are, to that future destination
they ultimately desire to go... That's why we are willingly
following them. That's why they are successful business-builders!
Therefore, if you're ready to become a
successful business-builder too, take this advice: Select
one area of your business, or your
life, that you would like
to improve, and then using the resources previously suggested,
apply The 5% Formula!
